INA Reaches Agreement with Advocate to Protect APNS

INA is glad to report that INA has reached an agreement with Advocate Medical Group regarding protection for the APNs displaced by Advocate’s announced clinic closures.
Advocate will transfer all affected nurses to open positions within the medical group, with respect to the APNs’ placement preference by senority. No one will lose their job!
As part of the settlement, INA has agreed to withdraw the Unfair Labor Practice charges filed against Advocate last week.
In addition, INA and Advocate have made significant progress in negotiations. The bargaining committee is hopeful that an agreement is within sight!
