Endorsement Process

The endorsement cycle for the 2024 March primaries have passed. Endorsements for the 2024 General Election are ongoing, the deadline to apply for endorsement is September 1st, 2024. Please send completed questionnaires to politicalaction@illinoisnurses.com.

All political endorsements are considered and voted on by the rank and file union members that sit on the Political Action Committee. Upon the completion of the questionnaire, you may be asked to sit for an interview with those nurses to get a better sense of your candidacy and whether you’re a right fit for the Illinois Nurses Association’s endorsement.
