SJNA Rally for Joliet Moms & Babies

On Sept. 30, our members hosted a rally to call out Prime Healthcare for abandoning mothers and babies in Joliet by closing the obstetrics and special care nursery units at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. We were proud to be joined by Joliet Township Supervisor Cesar Guerrero, the offices of U.S. Rep Lauren Underwood and State Senator Rachel Ventura, and many other community activists.
Our message to Prime is simple: Come to the bargaining table so we can fight for a contract that protects our hospital, our nurses, and our community!
